I had a rep try mirroring on me on the phone years back that went to the point of parroting. The only reason I stuck with it was that they were a supplier and we were getting a good price. Not recommended

If I tell you my name and you use it more than maybe twice in the same conversation, I'm immediately weirded out.
Same goes if I tell you my name and you instantly use a nickname. I told you what I want to be called, why are you changing it up?

I don't even like it, when I hear my real name ๐ since I can imagine, my family called me a nickname and my friends had their own nickname for me... and everytime someone calls me by my real name, I don't even realize it or I am a bit confused...
