i still miss Briscoe , the show is like an old friend , so many of the cast passed away over the Yr , Fred Thompson ,RIP he played the best DA on TV , Sam Waterston's McCoy make great argument and speech in closing argument .

Great day for broadcast TV news. I love the original "Law and Order". Back in the day, they did crossover episodes with "Homicide: Life On The Street" where Detective Munch (Richard Belzer) and a very young Jon Ceda (Antonio Dawson - Chicago PD) starred in and were partners. The actors who portrayed the detectives on L&O were all top notch. Remember a young and find Chris Noth?
Also, Danny Pino (Det. Nick Amaro) is coming back to SVU for the 500th episode on October 21st!!! This is like Christmas morning for Law and Order Diehards and the SVU fandom.

My fav detective team was Briscoe and Green and I never wanted to see McCoy out of the court room, so I'm cautiously optimistic about this. If Jack takes a more active role in trying cases again, and they can at least get Jesse L. Martin back, they'll have me hooked before the first episode airsπ S. Epatha Merkerson as their Lt. would just be icing on the cakeππΎ
Come to think of it, though...If Angie Harmon returned as lead ADA (to replace McCoy in the courtroom), I'd even pay for Peacock to watch Se2

That's a lot of TV. If u want to binge, you will never catch up. Or if u do, you will catch up in years not months. This show, NCIS (season 19) and Simpsons (season 33 omg) are never ending shows.
