Lk 18:18-19 - âAn official asked him this question, âgood teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?â Jesus answered him, âwhy do you call me good? No one is good but God aloneââ (NAB). The word Jesus uses for âGodâ in greek is âtheos,â which translates unambiguously to mean âGod.â The word âLordâ (kyrios in greek, Adonai in Hebrew) is not used. In this instance, Jesus refers to God.
As for the belief that Jesus did not worship or consider himself the son of the Hebrew god Yahweh because Jesus omits the first commandment, Jesusâ reply here is intentionally ironic: âWhy do you call me good? No one is good but God alone. You know the commandments, âyou shall not commit adulteryâŚââ (Lk 18:19-20). He says âyou know the commandments,â and then proceeds to omit the first and greatest one. Because Jesus refers elsewhere to the first commandment, it is clear that he knew it. The omission was intended to draw the officialâs attention to the fact that heâd just called Jesus âgoodâ (which only God can be) as well as âteacher.â Heâs asking the official, as well as the reader âdo you think Iâm God, or just another rabbi?â
Even though I disagree with the conclusion drawn in this video, you wouldnât have drawn it if you werenât reading closely, and I think thatâs great.

"El" literally comes from the Hebrew stemmed word for God, "Elohim" (××××××). "Yahweh/Yahowah/YHWH" -××××- is a word of reverence for God, "God" is not God's name, God is an office title, the exact same way how zeus is "god" in the since he's a false god, but he's not Yahweh. You could make the same case that Jesus was calling on zeus when He said "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani", but we both know He didn't because He was referring to His Father, Yahweh; the same word ancient Israelites would use to differentiate between the one true God they worshiped and the false pagan gods other cultures would worship, because if they were to speak Hebrew, they would all still collectively call their God "Elohim", regardless if it was the one true God or not.

Jesus is YHWH. El is a generic term for God. Cannanites called Baal El, because Baal was there god. God isnât a name, itâs a title (Elohim) and can mean ANY member of the heavenly host. In the Bible, the term Elohim is used to refer to Angels fallen angels, demonic spirits, and the gods of the nations

El can mean any God⌠the Bible uses âElâ and âElohim to refer to any spirit being. It uses that word to refer to the following-
-God Most High, YHWH
- The disembodied spirit of the dead
-demons
- idols
- The gods of the gentile nations
You need to do some research before coming out with videos like this because you donât know the scriptures
