Michaelangelo’s David was supposed to be on the roof of a building o seen from below at a distance. Hence he incorporated perspective in making the head and hands a little bigger thn normal so they could be more easily seen.

Honestly I think the second part about convenience detracts from the first point about how people do not think about all of the decisions that go into a creative work. These could be two separate and perfectly good shorts on their own. Either way, big fan of the work you do.
