Lately Iā€™ve been practicing rowing because Iā€™m planning to do it for the Army Combat Fitness Test. Your videos are coming in handy for me bc prior to about 3 weeks ago, the rower was always something I avoided.

My row is the end of my workout, which always starts with pushups, kettlebell swings, dumbbell work and a 3 minute plank. That said, I rarely do warmup rowing before starting interval rowing workouts. Which is why my first "piece" is usually slower than the others. But I make up for it on the back end. For longer rows, 5K and above, it's almost pointless to warm up with rowing.

Hi, I have one Question. I row for 3 times per week. 1. 30-40 Minutes straight rowing. 2. 6x5 Minutes interwall with 90 seconds rest in between. 3. 15 Minutes Hiit with 40 seconds full power and 20 seconds rest intervals. Is this a good strategy?

You're looking leaner these days Shane, are you consciously stepping back from weight training in favour of yoga etc? If so, would be curious to learn the reasons and thought process that led to that decision? Might make an interesting video.
