I had two friends who were trying to change me with pretty ruff methods. One was doing it through inducing fear, the other with sheer force and rigorousness. And I couldn't tell at first, why this behaviour was pushing me away. I got very defensive and I was actually thinking I was wrong and they jsut want to help me. In the end I got lost, lost the truset in myself, am very confused and have even guilt by not being nice to them. Let others be. It can destroy lifes.

The best way to put it is leave them cause they wonāt change for you. A persons nature is person nature, who they truly are to the core, they can fake it for a few years for your sake but eventually they wonāt be able to keep their composure and they will explode and reveal their true self. Moral of the story is take advantage of your intuition and let that person go before that person leaves you in the dust

This can get really thorny. Dr. Campbell's advice is for people we have some sort of a relationship with, who are marching to a different drummer, so to speak. But what if the individual is Dark Triad. What if this Dark Triad person is actively harming others including yourself? Is a hands' off approach still better? What is the best strategy? There are SO many people - currently - with straight out malignance. QUESTION: how does intelligence or intellect interact with consciousness or vice versa? Same question regarding this malignance. Thank you.
