Why should postural changes not be the foundation for treatment in somatic rehabilitation? In this video, I discuss the critical role of postural changes in somatic rehabilitation and massage therapy. I explain why analyzing postural changes should not be the foundation for treatment, as they are consequences rather than the root problems. Through real clinical examples, I demonstrate how targeting the underlying triggers can lead to more stable and effective results. Join me to understand why addressing postural reactions without identifying their true causes may only provide partial relief, and learn how to enhance your practice with advanced medical massage techniques.

Dear Ross. Thank you again! This is what I see in the field:
1/ no matter the pain has been presented for 6 weeks, 6 years or 60 years they want to fix in 60 minutes or less . Whoever can do it they take it. Later on pain worse from earlier temporary relief , they come to us ; few blocks away it takes 10 years for them to show up at the door.

2/ If rename health insurance I to sick insurance would bring more awareness to people? Patients come to me using insurance benefit get better slower or least benefit. They don’t often do exercise at home as needed. I tell them that by touching the muscle tones in the following visit I can tell if they do it or not.
3/ I remember one of your video about opening up layer by layer. My current and most concern now is working on a body with chronic pain receiving massage regularly but muscle mass is hard, thick. Why a massage therapist do strong pressure( mostly by elbows ) causing that? I do know only top surface being addressed . It takes long time to rehab to healthy muscle tones then we can communicate with the layer underneath .
Thank you again!!
