A lot of people say they don’t think Cassian and Nestas love, well, really love, more harsh, a way for both of them to rather express their pains.
Me personally, I find there love truly one of a kind, before reading a court of silver flames, I expected the book to be the the review suggested, but I think their love isn’t harsh, it’s passionate. Yes, they could have more personal time together, but everyone loves differently! Cas was there, his hand out, when Nes need it the most, that alone made me want to cry when I finished the book, which was like 20 minutes ago.
