Okay, how about for each spell cast a player must stand up and spin around in circles as many times as the spell’s level. If they keep their eyes open they get a bonus to damage. If they can stand on one foot for ten seconds after, guaranteed crit. If they are sick at any point, their character is incapacitated.

I actually like the idea that casting spells back to back or even within a certain period of each other might give a stacking con or intel penalty, while the higher the level of spell the longer the penalty last and the higher the penalty added. If you have the chance to cast a spell successfully based on a intel check the higher the penalty is the harder it is for even the best mages to use a high level spell serval times in quick secession

I am thinking about this and realistically speaking their are 3 ways this could go:
1. Players rely entirely on cantrips and never take shots again (highly doubt)
2. Players with high tolerance cast wish like every turn and just down alcohol like nobody's business
3. Players with low tolerance THINK they have high tolerance and end up black out drunk after 2 turns of combat

Would you try this in your next D&D game?
