2 things:
1) Instead of farming for the Lightning Strike fruit, try to breed it down from it's parents. Grizzbolt and Orserk are both electric pals who learn it naturally and bred together make Astegon.
2) Instead of just leaving the 3rd pal box at any static location, go where you're going to farm, Lightning Strike, put down the box and a container next to it, summon a bunch of transporter pals with the box (or fill your team with Flopies), remove the ore from the box when you're done, transport to an actual base to put the ore away, dismantle that 3rd base.

Just use 3rd base and mobile mining base. Move from nodes to nodes, drop pal box, team floppies and send out bunch of digtoise and go take a break. Teleport back to main base, drop off and repeat.

You can breed the skill probably before you find the fruit.

Digtoise is much earlier and takes like 8 seconds each

You forgot to mention to breed thestronegst damn combat Astegon for this. preferably one with the electric damage +20% passive, and 3 attack raising passives. (Ferocious, Musclehead, Legend would be my 3 top picks for those)
You can get roughly 40 sulfur / node with standard rop rate, if you want 720 sulfur that fast, you'd have to hit 18 nodes. There's no such location. At least not if you only hit 1 location.
On the other hand, you only need sulfur for rockets. DoN'tcraft bullets, just buy them, they're cheap. Have a Jormuntide Ignis cook a ton of berries, and sell the cooked berries to a merchant. Than you can get all the bullets you may want. This is also a great way of getting money that didn't get nerfed with the new patch, that f*cked over everyone who got their gold with selling nails.

turn off the item drop at death, go to options and respawn. better than trying to batman your way around the map when you have too much weight
