The best 'shampoo' I have ever tried was a mix of egg yolk, chickpea flour and other stuff, let in the hair and scalp for a while. It made hair clean and beautiful. The drawbacks are the longer active time and especially, no matter what I did, a little bit of the yolk smell always persisted especially under the wind ☹. I hate the raw yolk smell actually, that's why I much prefer well-cooked eggs, so I don't use it very often.
