How to TELL Clients "You're a Hot Mess" (Gently)
One of the conversations we had in training today was... What's the ETHICAL expectation around when your client is "off balance", and they're really short changing areas of their life, and it's really destructive for them? Like they overwork, and then so it really hurts them at home.
What's your RESPONSIBILITY to actually bring that to the table with your client?
And the answer is... if you're a life coach, it IS your responsibility. AND... sometimes clients aren't READY to deal with that area.
And so sometimes, you've got to just help them create success in an area that they're COMFORTABLE with doing that in, to the point where they're so comfortable, and they have so much momentum, they really are so amazed, satisfied, and happy with the coaching they've gotten... that they're WILLING to put OTHER AREAS on the mat with you (that originally they wouldn't have been comfortable with even talking to you about). Then you can make a difference In that respect.
