Doesnt it make more sense for the man in black being god? He seems omnipotent, bullets dont kill him, he says he wants his son to be like john, that many people have damned him when john says damn you,jimmy brooks is either you save him or kill him that god talks about in the poem and if jimmy brooks last name was jimmy crooks, the JC initials wouldve given it away.
