At 34 I have realised this too. All of my peers have had access to recourses in some kind of healthy way that helped them atleast move forward from their trauma or problems. Some of us are still stuck in the same place with no control or financial ability to leave.

It’s so hard to feel this way when others tell you it’s not real. I’m glad you made this video. This made me feel better. It does matter when someone has the help they need vs not having the help. It completely makes you a different person. I know this from being on the side with zero help.

I was always more like the type naa we're all ok we dont have depression we dont have trauma, till I started thinking about things instead of ignoring them.

I have CPTSD and always wondered why my brothers weren’t as traumatized as me or diagnosed with CPTSD like I was. Turns out some people become sociopaths or psychopaths because of child abuse.

They have no idea but they how they don't see the invalidation in that idk. I was also the one shit in a drive by and left for dead. Sorry I'm nit bubbly like u and that my life has turned out the sàme. 20 yrs on abuse on top of all the he horror stories that just happen to be my life. Ugh plzzzzzz someone talk about this before more of us silently pass enough is enough I didn't ask for what happened to me nor did you and we deserve a life too.

This is so true, me and my friend went through a traumatic event together when we were younger- she’s been able to heal from it because her family were supportive and helped her.
I however already had a diagnosis of ptsd prior to that event and the way the event was handled by the people around me made my ptsd worse
