Movement/mobility training is joint and tissue-specific training

All movement follows these 2 ideas

1. Occurs at the joint level
2. Created internally

This shifts the focus back to the individual, where patterned training, IE bench press, deadlift, etc.

These movements constrain the body in very specific ways. You will only become strong in the direction you train.

If you are an overhead athlete (volleyball, baseball, etc.) and do not train your shoulder rotationally in an overhead position then your joint is now at a higher risk for injury

It comes back to the Law of Specificity

If you only use your body a certain way, then all other movements will slowly disappear

If you improve your HIP, then anything you do with this hip becomes easier. It will be able to handle all loads in all directions rather than just linear ones.
