Wish every console that read cartridges had an eject button like how I wish that top loading based consoles that read discs would have the eject button on the spindle like the GameCube does.

Early SNES games were made so that when you press the power button a lil piece sort of locks them into place. If you were to try and pull them out without pressing eject you could mess up your system. Later games had a diff design and could technically be pulled out without pressing eject but you still probs shouldn't do it.
