Stop bothering with all of those neofetch style applications and use the one true application that does everything you'll ever need, that application is nofetch.

This just gave me an idea:
lolfetch - makes up ridiculous stuff and pretends it's describing your system.

Ah yes I need to run neofetch so much that a fraction of a second in run time matters.

I personally use fastfetch now. It’s very similar to neofetch and has a ton of extra functionality, but it’s written in C and it’s really snappy. It’s the only way you’ll get me to use a neofetch adjacent thing because I can add it to my bashrc and zshrc and then forget about it.

It actually made me think that you could just make fetch programs cache output so you don't need to fetch everytime 🤔

For real though, can you recommend a fetch script with a little less dependencies, neofetch takes an entire list with it

I set a fetch script to run when I log in or disconnect from a machine using SSH it helps me easily keep track of what machine im in.

A fetch tool is useful for servers. Being able to see the uptime and cpu/memory/swap/disk usage when I ssh in is nice
