You canβt attribute the spread of the diaspora to discrimination since the diaspora has already spread to Ethiopia, Persia, and Rome during the pre-Christian era. True discrimination would bottle them up in a poor rural backwater, not result in their successful spread across Eurasia as a preeminent ethnos in science and commerce

Yep we cluster closest with Sicilians, mainland S Italians, Island Greeks, and especially Maltese. We are equidistant from Levantine Arabs and northern Italians, so a Jordanian man having a child with a Venetian woman would be a very good genetic proxy for why we are.
