I think what really offended people about them disrespecting Christianity is, not only, they danced at a church, but their outfits, especially the crown of thorns. Which is something the Romans mockingly nailed into Jesus’ skull, a part of the price he paid on the cross. Them just nonchalantly wearing crowns of thorns on their head in a video with them dancing in a church, it’s a little disrespectful. It’s kind of taking a jab at the cost Jesus’ love cost. Almost, belittling it.
I do really like le serafim a lot, but personally, I think it’s a little too much. Honestly, this kind of stuff happens so often in K-pop with disrespect to religion. (Example: Jake getting hate for wearing the Allah necklace) I think directors and stylists should be a little more educated so stuff like this stops happening.
