This is spot on. I literally had to go through a phase of learning to be ok with "breaking promises" when necessary. Of course, try to properly assess prior to committing. BUT, you also have to be ready to discard your desire to be the 'good person' you'd like to think yourself to be when YOURSELF NEEDS YOUR PROTECTION. Literally, had to get over this idea.

Yep,my parents use to say im too nice,and unfortunately met a NARC but it only last 2 months he didn't know that i was a Nasty Nice im sure someone on here know what that mean,im definitely a Nasty Nice with Men, Single life is Beautiful ❤

This syndrome is a direct consequence of being love bombed. You try to give back something in return for what you got on that love bombing initial phase.
But what you don't realize is that you were baited into this. And the narc will never tell you that what you are giving back is enough.
