BMW has actually been doing that for years. Also if your car goes in for service, they will often give you a nicer spec’d one as a loaner.

That is standard practice for most manufacturers. Actually, Tesla was one of the few who didn’t gave me the car over night when I shopped for my first EV. BMW gave me two different cars for 2 days each, VW over night, Skoda for a whole day and so on.

Most dealerships will let you take a car un overnight if you're on the fence and they have enough of your info. It's the #1 sales tactic, and works just about every time. Kinda slimy, but a deal sealer 100%.

If you have good enough credit literally every dealership will let you overnight vehicles for the weekend. We have procedures for it.
