I too piss near my ball whenever it lands in water. Thought I was the only one. Everyone else seems to think itâs odd.

There is a mini golf course on a farm in/near Hopkinsville KY that by putting it in the water stream you can get a hole in one. But most people were not realizing that and grabbing the balls from the water or blocking the water to help.
It was the only good hole and it was a top tier hole

How do you determine if the water is temporary? If it is a low spot or small stream and water sits/runs there 90% of the time and drys up sometimes is that temporary or what % of time counts? Would Perennial, Intermittent, or maybe only Ephemeral Streams count as temporary?
Or is it determined some other way?

I take relief in the bushes. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do though. I have taken relief in water

Actually happened to me: ball in bunker, but an earlier storm resulted in several inches of âcausal waterâ filling the bunker. Normally, relief can be taken (no penalty) but must be still inside the hazard⌠so what happens when no relief is available within the borders of the hazard?

I remember there was one golfer that got his ball into a stream and he waited until it went around the bend and actually got a way better shot.

Grillo tried this gig a couple weeks ago and took too long to decide to pick the ball out of the water. So he had to take it back to the point where it went in the water. Fortunately he still won the tournament.
