Okay, that's way scarier than just entering.

Hearing the word horizon always makes me think of how scary a black hole is. Glad someone tested it for us.

I thought that people would explode, but stopping and fading away is so much more scarier.

There are for type of Sci-fi:
1. Fantasy but in space.
2. Sad robots and cyborgs.
3. Aliens eating people.
4. Actual science which gives you existencial crisis.

This is one of the clearest presentations of gravitation's effects on time and radiation/particle behavior.

Most interesting thing is, because of the massive amount of gravity, the time dilation would mean the person travelling towards the black hole is experiencing time at a slower rate than you. That means, the closer he gets, the more he appears to slow down. Eventually, he would be going so slow you may even have to wait weeks to even months to see him cross the event horizon and slowly fade away. The bigger the black hole is, the greater the time dialtion.

To an outside observer, a person FADING into a black hole would seem to slow down MASSIVELY, but to the person FADING into the black hole, the time would seem to speed up MASSIVELY and basically be a very fast lights out.
