The endermen killing mechanic is useful for enderman farms because it drops xp, so instead of swinging a bunch, you can throw one potion and kill them all at once

I think there was a recent change in java which made it so that splash water bottles extinguish a player on fire

On both versions, they can also refill the timer (I think it’s both 5 minutes) of an Axolotl or Dolphin suffocating. Can be used in the nether for them but you can also use a snow bucket.

Gotta love that bedrock bug where potion trajectory is off so when you throw up, it ends up on the floor behind you. Imagine trying to save yourself with splash potion of fire res and it doesn't land near you when thrown upward.

Extinguishing mobs (including the player) is such a basic and important thing though! It feels as core functionality of the splash water. We see a lot of parity changes coming to java this patch. Fingers crossed this is one of them.

Thank you for including Bedrock. I'd love to see a handful of Java and Bedrock players do a series of challenges out of their comfort zones, in each other's game. I think there's some real potential for some funny shenanigans.
