Ok... The only way to tell is with the money reader iBill or the iPhone. They are what identify bills the rest of the methods rely on those two techs.

US money should be just blind accessible. They can print all that crazy stuff on it for security, they could just print tactile marks. I'm Polish and our currency does it.
