I had telogen effluvium in 2022 and yeah, brushing less (and brushing carefully) helped.

DHT blocking shampoo works wonders for me. After just a few uses I noticed when I brushed there was barely any hair on my brush and there used to be quite a bit before. Of course it takes 6-9 months to see visible thickness results.

Holy cow, I didn’t know this happened to you too. Mine started in 2018 and Ive finally gotten it to slow down recently! For me, it was my vitamin D levels, and of course stress. I find that no one seems to talk about vitamin D deficiency and hair loss though. Makes me curious if you took any vitamins to help?
