Hi Jack it's a discharge spike from a pot or resistor or condensor as overtime as voltage builds up in the component and exceeds it's level it will discharge causing a signal jump. This can also happen due to heat so doing a deep clean on the instrument removing dirt and fluff to ensure that components are staying cool may help. Turning it off and on will allow full discharge of the components and a helpful thing is to not leave it powered on when not in use.

The music ya'll are making is good, not my style, but good. I can recognize good music even if it's not my personal taste. I'm not just saying that to give you some sort of back handed compliment; but I say that because I still love watching your videos and shorts because of the fun you all are having.
