Comparing DNA to a code is a very poor analogy since changing things in an actual computer code will usually stop the entire process, while changing parts of the genetic “code” will often lead to mutations that are neutral, some of which can even be good or detrimental, though those are more rare. Also, saying that small changes can happen but can’t lead to large changes over time is like saying that you can have 1+1=2. And you can have 2+1=3, and you can even have 3+1=4, but you can never keep adding 1 and eventually get a million.
