In this video : During his conquests, Ravana once reached the heavens, where he encountered the celestial nymph Rambha. Smitten by her beauty, Ravana attempted to touch her. However, Rambha pleaded with him, explaining that she was reserved for Nal Kubera, the son of Ravana's brother Kubera, and thus was like a daughter-in-law to him. Ignoring her plea, Ravana, drunk with power, violated her dignity. When Nal Kubera learned of this, he cursed Ravana that if he ever touched another woman against her will, his head would shatter into a hundred pieces. This curse became a pivotal moment in Ravana's downfall.
रावण की विजय यात्राओं के दौरान स्वर्ग में उसकी मुलाकात रम्भा नामक अप्सरा से होती है। रम्भा, जो नल कुबेर के लिए आरक्षित थी, रावण से विनती करती है कि वह उसे अपनी पुत्रवधू के समान माने, लेकिन रावण अपनी शक्ति के मद में चूर होकर उसकी बात को अनसुना कर देता है। नल कुबेर को जब इस घटना का पता चलता है, तो वह रावण को श्राप देता है कि यदि उसने भविष्य में किसी पराई स्त्री को उसकी इच्छा के विरुद्ध छुआ, तो उसके मस्तक के 100 टुकड़े हो जाएंगे। यह श्राप रावण के अहंकार और पतन का प्रतीक बन जाता है।
