I didnt mind those cryptic vessels that they were fun, what i did mind though to finish the quest you need a specific boss weapon to complete so if you did not grab it in you first playthrough. You literally are out of luck and need to start NG+. Thats pretty stupid quest design.

I actually liked this cryptic vessel a bit. My only issue was the apartment being less obvious since it's never something you directly look at when walking along the critical path. But still, having loot sometimes recontextualize old places by prompting you to do a specific action that you could have done from the get go is cool.
