My favourite is in "the brothers Lionheart", filmed in Sweden and Iceland. They cross a bridge to this evil deserted wasteland, and that's Iceland, of course. But they have horses with them, and everyone knows you can't take foreign horses to Iceland, so they got Icelandic stunt doubles for the Swedish horses, which means that on the other side of the bridge, the horses are magically shrunk to 3/4 size.
