Here are three examples of how I've incorporated AI into my latest video production.
1) An ageing and de-ageing effect that was created using FaceLab app on my phone! The process is to create an image sequence of the clip you are working on. Select keyframes from the sequence, a keyframe should look to reveal additional information in the frame!
You then apply the effect to each keyframe, making sure to keep the settings consistent. You then need a piece of free software called EBSynth that uses the effect on your keyframes to apply the effects to the rest of the image sequence. You can then fade between the original footage and the aged version to create a transition.
2) Applying an animation effect to existing footage was done in the same way, only this time I used the Lensa app on my phone for the animation style, but the process of keyframes in EBSynth was the same.
3) Applying an AI filter to existing footage - this was by far the easiest and quickest effect - essentially you load in your clip, use a prompt, which after a bit of testing I plumbed for a preset in Kaiber AI. There are some problems with the footage - some aberrations - but it has created something eye catching and at the end of the day, isn't that what we're trying to do, imprison the eyeballs?
