Building a five-chord bridge. Here’s the tutorial. You pick five chords (use music theory), and then you play them (repeatedly). It will confuse people because there are five of them.

For those curious, this is a ii-iii-ii6-iii6-vi7 progression in G major. Creates that nice ascending stepwise bassline. Also these chords don't have super strong harmonic motion, but they still move, giving that sort of swirling feeling, like the song is in a little emotional pocket, perfect for a bridge.

I love 3 and 5 chord patterns for giving a feeling of unrest to the listener. Our ears expect a resolution with the 4 chord structure present in most pop music and this can break out of that in a cool way. Perfect for some songs based on the lyrical theme and emotion you're going for.

Love the chord progression but MAN does that drum part fit so well in driving this forward.

I love this editor. The punch in on Jack's hand on "5-chord pattern" is fantastic.

I bought one of your songs about 15 years ago. I was just scrolling and came across your page. Good to see you guys are still making music.

The drums are so crisp and lovely on this. Drummer absolutely brings the life into this track and just delicious.

I really dig the way you all film these clips of the song being built. I can actually feel those breakthrough moments, it's very clever. Keep it up! It's a joy to watch everyone work together.

I love how this reframes each chord in the pattern every time it loops, so although it's still a loop it FEELS like a progression

I love the melody here, there's something so ethereal about the vibe, especially the change near the end <3 Can't wait for the full song to be released

It's so lovely to see these two looking younger and more vibrant than ever. Was introduced to them 15-16 years ago (half of my life ago lol). They haven't aged or changed one bit.
