The star wars fan base murdered the passion. Star wars still makes incredible shows. The Fandom has no one to blame but itself.

As a lifelong Star Wars fan I love the originals and really enjoy the prequels. Not everything Disney did sucked (like rouge one, Andor and Mandalorian seasons 1 & 2) but the sequels and most other shows have killed the passion. Some of that blame falls on us as the fans, but most of it is on Disney. (They have horrible choreography, plot consistency and acting through the last Jedi and rise of skywalker)
-and BOBF, Star Wars resistance, visions, and the latest season of Mandalorian were hot garbage
-I also love clone wars and rebels
