I'd actually build a slight canyon around the rail, make the top of rail a rough surface to hold wax in place. Then put the temp retaining walls up and do what you guys did.
Would promote a cleaner grind surface that will also have better hold.

you should try using SC johnson pastewax on a rail. you put some on wait a few minutes then wipe the excess off. you will take off like Clark Griswold in a sled

i feel like if you torched it again after removing the wood you would have made the wax mold around the rail and made it last a lot longer. but i don't know anything and you guys are the professionals after all

Upsidown skateboard grip on bottom wheels on top of the trucks are too short and the noes and tail touch the ground maybe the things that make trucks higher
