Hitting the tab button is faster, in that it shows all the own tabs, so I can go straight to whichever one I want. Your suggested method involves scrolling through all the tabs, until I get to the desired one.

Samsung doesn't provide applock but nobody talks about it. All the other brands have it (and don't tell me to use secure folder. Both have different functionality)

Samsung Internet also offers a similar feature, and it even allows users to move the tab bar to the bottom of the screen for easier swiping.
