I make $210k. 20% is another $42k. I live 20 min from work. I'd gladly go into the office. The first year buys me a new car to commute in.

I'll take 80% to keep living in a small town. I moved 150kms east of Vancouver. I traded a 1 bedroom condo for a big property and house in Hope, BC. I have a big garden and back yard chickens. It's quiet, I have loads of friends since I moved here since it's way friendlier. Plus the time and expense of commuting add up. 10 hours a week is worth a lot to me rather than being in a car to get to the office.
