Honestly I’ve watched avatar like 13 times. I didn’t like TLOK that much but I didn’t think it was as bad as some people say it is. I really liked how different Korra was from Aang and how Most of the people we knew from Atla.. were dead. The fact that they were brave enough to kill off characters offscreen like that is amazing! They even somehow found a way to keep some fan favorites alive such as, Toph, Zuko, Katara, and Joe. I remember when watching TLOK I was just so happy at the fact that bloodbending was back. I legit started crying happy tears 🤣. I liked Book 1 a lot because of Amon’s backstory and pro bending (and everything else), I thought that Book 1 was amazing but it could’ve been better (romance..)
Book 2 for me had some lazy writing, plot holes, Sometimes the characters didn’t feel like themselves to me! Even then I didn’t think the season was trash though, but I’m not gonna lie.. the thing I liked the most about season 2 was the fight scenes 😆


Book 3 was wayy better then book 2 imo. Book 3 was probably my favorite season out of all of them. I really liked the villians, how they had the villians be one of each element, like how Team Avatar is. Seeing Zuko again was cool and the way that they showed off his dragon had me hyped for the next episode lol. I loved the way they did the ‘ba sing se’ arc and how they managed to still make the Dai li kind of cool and scary 😟

The way that Zaheer killed the Earth queen left me in shock though.. I really didn’t expect a kids show to have a scene like that 0-0
I also really loved how they brought back combustion ‘man’
Too bad Pl’i was basically just a weaker, but more in control version of him. The way that they first showed off Ming hua was fantastic 👌
When I saw that she was armless I was just like “how is she gonna waterbend??” Then when she used her water bending as arms and killed like 3 white Lotus.. I instantly fell in love with her 🤩 (joke)
And the Lava bending was a cool addition to the Sub-bending. I did feel like Lava bending was overshadowed by the fact that Metal bending seemed to be more stronger and reliable (and less dangerous to the bender)



Book 4..
There are certain parts of book 4 I do like, such as Korra Alone, Korra vs Kuvira (first fight)
But there are a lot of things I DONT alike about season 4. KorrAsami ship fealt oddly forced and out of the blue. The voice acting for me fealt worse for most of the characters (most of the characters had different voices because they were older but some characters like Kai had a really bad, and painful voice to listen too)

The fight scenes were amazing though. Bring back toph was such a good and exciting thing to watch. The Beifong retrival arc was such a cool episode 😎
I really am just a sucker for earthbending fights (and water bending) but I honestly thought these fights were just overall, better then a lot of TLOK fights. 👌
I didn’t really like how the pacing and powerscaling in this season was though. I hated how they kinda dragged out the big robot fight at the end.. and I hated the big robot fight because I’m not a fan of fights like those. The filler episode sucked, but it was kinda funny. I didnt think that Kuvira should’ve been able to beat Korra though. Korra is arguably stronger then Aang (book 3) so the fact that Kuvira was able to beat her..
(yes Ik she was dealing with PTSD and stuff like that)
I just didn’t think that a normal metalbender should’ve been able to go 1 on 1 and actually beat an avatar in a fight.
I did like Kuvira though, I thought she was the only villian who had her shi ttogether, and I liked how they actually introduced us to in book 3 too. I just didn’t like the fact that she went from being Suyin’s guard or whatever to literally becoming a dictator 😳
(Didn’t make much sense to me)

Anyways yeah that’s what I think about The Legend of Korra
My overal rating of this show on a scale of 1-11
