Norwegian here and have to tell a story! Many years ago we had some British friends over and gave them some brown cheese. They LOVED it. Woo mission accomplished. Imagine the horror when we came home and found them with an omelette… made with brown cheese…. Apparently they thought it was good.

My gf's grandmother is from the south of Norway, so every Christmas she gets a HUGE block of brunost as a gift. It's delicious and tastes great with fruit and crunchy bread as part of a breakfast spread
