My guess is that you are seeing a lot of those colanders because they are cute but not functional (holes too big, not enough holes, etc). If you decide to get it, hang onto your old one until you've had time to test it.

Definitely business casual duster. I think you should get the colander. Maybe trade your current one out or donate it to an org that will give it to someone newly settling into their home? I used to work in refugee resettlement and we definitely would have given that to a family pretty quickly.

As other people have said, you could use the colander as decor storing fruit. You could also light a candle under it, and then cast leaf shaped light on the walls to set the mood for a girls night

The leaf colander is so cute and if you want it you should get it next time, but my thought is that if you keep seeing that at the thrift store people may be donating it because it doesnβt work well.

On the colander, they are great if yoj are going fruit picking/foraging and they are great as hanging baskets for plants and generally useful in gardening. We have more than one colander because of that.

So I am now expert in butterflys whatsoever but I think those are european butterlfy species. Two of them could be: Vanessa cardui and Catocala fraxini. Not sure tho, hard to tell from here. But I feel like they're real is what I'm saying :D

The colander can be used as a hanging planter!! I just saw someone else doing that and it inspired me to use them too. I'm always looking for hanging planters but never find them second hand so if I want one I'd have to buy it new.
