ya. i was called fat when i was young. after that, i just never felt good enough. so i lost weight and it started good, i was getting healthier. but as a perfectionist it was never enough. but even after the entire eating disorder: if i knew it all then, i dont know if i would change anything. that's the sad part..

If I told Fransesca her nose is too big would that inspire her to get surgery for it? It's never your place to comment on other's appearance unless you're their doctor or personal trainer. "Inspiring" them is likely just a way of justifying the comments when the real reason is something personal that you like to bury deep in your subconscious.

Nonsense! Teasing your friends while encouraging them to join you on their weight loss journey is the key! In our friend group, if you're overweight, we'll poke fun at youâbut never with malice. If a stranger spoke to our overweight friend the way we do, we'd defend our friend. We can joke around because our friends know it's all in fun and that we care about them; otherwise, we wouldn't be friends. Our teasing is a way to motivate them to avoid health issues later in life. However, once they start making changes and trying to improve, the joking stops, as theyâre on the path to becoming a healthier version of themselves.

Many people with weight issues are dealing with underlying problems due to abuse, trauma or other things
