When Salahuddin entered Jerusalem he remembered what happened with the Muslims in 1099 when the babies were smashed in the walls and the mothers were forced to see their children being tortured and killed. But he also remembered what our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did while he entered Mecca, Him (S.a.w) Remembered how Bilal was tortured in the hot sand, how Ammar had his father and mother being killed before his very own eyes, but he still forgived them. So when salahuddin entered and he forgave them a man came to him and said in anger: " Don't you remember how they beheaded us, how they tortured us? " Salahuddin said: Yes, But i also remember what our prophet did at this stage when he entered Makkah. Salahuddin was just a great leader who will be remembered till the Day Of Judgement.
