Muhammad (peace be upon him), often referred to as the Prophet Muhammad, is considered the last prophet and messenger in Islam. Born in Mecca around 570 CE, he grew up to become a central figure in religious and social reform in Arabia during a time of tribalism and idolatry.

Muhammad's early life was marked by honesty, humility, and a reputation as "Al-Amin" (the trustworthy). At the age of 40, he received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel while meditating in a cave on Mount Hira. These revelations continued over the next 23

years and formed the Quran, the holy book of Islam.

As a prophet, Muhammad's mission encompassed conveying the message of monotheism (the belief in one God, Allah), social justice, and morality. He faced resistance and persecution from the powerful tribes of Mecca but eventually gained followers who believed in his teachings of compassion, equality, and charity.

In 622 CE, Muhammad and his followers
migrated to Medina (known as the Hijra), where he established a new Islamic community based on justice, cooperation, and faith. Over the next decade, he unified the tribes of Arabia under the banner of Islam, emphasizing the importance of knowledge, wisdom, and respect for human dignity.

Muhammad's legacy extends beyond religious teachings to include his role as a statesman, lawgiver, and military leader. His leadership style emphasized
consultation (Shura) and the peaceful resolution of conflicts whenever possible.

Upon his death in 632 CE, Muhammad left behind a thriving community and a set of principles that continue to guide Muslims worldwide. His teachings on compassion, justice, and the pursuit of knowledge remain central to Islamic faith and practice, making him a revered figure in history for Muslims and a subject of study and admiration for people of various backgrounds and beliefs.
