Christianity is specifically aimed at the weakest and most downtrodden in society. It is because of this that the wording is such that it would imply benevolence. The complete opposite is more accurately the case. God is not interested in your concerns, no matter how highly they ranked to you.. health wealth, stability these things mean nothing to God. So any verses that you misinterpret to indicate that are your own foolishness.
