a lot of people have been asking what had happened between Eric and I. he was my best friend for many years and unfortunately things between us ended very poorly. this song kinda explains a little of that whole messy situation. The Good In You also came to me out of nowhere so guess I really needed to vent my feelings and stand up for myself. this is only a piece of what happened during that confusing ass time in my life and of what came afterwards.
the beat I used in this track is also reminiscent of the style of music together we made together. thought I’d throw it back one last time

Myself is a song about the ups & downs I’ve been going through. The constant struggle of tearing myself down over current & past things in my life. From comparing myself to others to feelings of loneliness. The chorus of the song has a more uptempo vibe to mask the sad lyrics - kinda like what I’ve been accustomed to doing in my life.

I wrote this song when I was unintentionally hurting the two closest people to me at the time. I was lost and confused at the time. It’s actually crazy how much I’ve learned about myself and others throughout the journey though. Through all the craziness this song came to birth. I was hella inspired by the song Massive and I've always had a love for EDM (was the first kind of music I made) so I’d thought I’d take it back to the roots.
