“I had no work for 9 years. I was worried as time was passing by, but I never lost faith in my creativity. Then I came up with the song ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage,’ which won national awards. But I created music at home during those 9 years, and my wife supported me a lot in that phase,” said Anu Malik on our podcast.

While listening to our recent conversation, you'll get to know Anu Malik's perspective on his life experiences.

Here are my top 5 moments from his story:

→ His father was always into music and would sing melodies to him. Around the age of 5-6 years, he also started singing.

→ At the age of 14, he started pursuing singing. The first song he composed was sung by Asha Bhosle.

→ Main Hoon Na was life-changing for him; most songs in that movie were composed by him, and all of them became iconic.

→ He mentioned that after Indian Idol, his music got a face and was recognized by people. They loved his shayaris and comments.

→ After no longer being part of Indian Idol, he said he has no bitter feelings because you can’t create if you have bitterness in your heart.

That’s all I have for you today!

We also talked about:

⏩ Anu Malik’s childhood and memories with his father
⏩ Why he is no longer on Indian Idol
⏩ His views on Diljit Dosanjh and Hanumankind
⏩ His experience working with Sunidhi Chauhan
⏩ The backstory of his iconic song “Ek Garam Chai Ki Pyali”

“70-80% of celebrities do cosmetic surgeries whereas 20-30% of common people spend money on cosmetic surgeries”, said Senior Surgeon Rajasekhar Gollu on our podcast.

He is also the Founder of Sriroop Cosmetic Surgery and Cosmetology Center.

This episode will give you a deep insight into cosmetic surgeries, their effects and side effects, and much more.

Here are my top 5 takeaways:

‍ Brazil is known as the cosmetic capital of the world because many people, once they move past their teenage years, choose to undergo fillers or cosmetic surgeries.

‍ Many fake doctors without proper degrees perform cosmetic surgeries, so it's important to check qualifications and read Google reviews before choosing a cosmetologist.

‍ Common cosmetic treatments in women are lip and cheek fillers, skin whitening, and hair transplants in men.

‍ HIFU is gaining popularity as a non-surgical skin treatment that helps tighten and lift loose skin.

‍ The long way to achieve beauty goals is through a changed lifestyle and the short/ quick way is through cosmetic surgeries.

That’s all I had for you today!

We also discussed:
⏩ Best sunscreen brands
⏩ The most common surgeries in actors
⏩ How safe or dangerous are cosmetic surgeries
⏩ What are ‘Male Bo*bs’ and surgical procedures to fix them
⏩ Surgeries Kylie Jenner and Cristiano Ronaldo have undergone

‘90% of the cases that women put on men are fake, only 10% are real,’ said Adv. Vikas Nagwan on our podcast.

He is the leading criminal lawyer and Advocate at the Supreme Court Of India.
In our conversation, he has shared stories of how women have registered fake cases on men and how men have suffered.

Here are my top 5 takeaways:
‷ He said that if a girl says that there were intimate moments with a guy under the fake promise of marriage, then there will an FIR done and the police can also arrest the guy.

‷ There are gangs that are active in India with whom girls are involved, they meet guys at public places, develop connection and after some time put up a fake case of false promises of marriage.

‷ He says that 95% of cases of domestic violence that are registered by women are fake, only 5% are real.

‷ A couple in a Live-in relationship cannot be restricted or stopped by society or by the police, as there is no law that prohibits them from living together.

‷ He said that if a wife goes to her husband’s office and creates a ruckus due to her doubts, then there is no legal action against her but if a husband does that then there are legal consequences.

That’s all I had for you today!

We also talked about:
⏩ Psychology of victim and accused
⏩ Rights of couples in Live-in relationship
⏩ What a girl should do if blackmail against private pictures
⏩ Difference in rights of wife and husband

I recently did a podcast with former R&AW Officer, Amar Bhushan. He has briefly served in BSF intelligence, State Special Branch and Intelligence Bureau.

It was my pleasure to understand from him the answers to our most common questions when it comes to R&AW.

Here are my top 5 takeaways from our conversation:

-> He said that R&AW is the only profession where the other person doesn’t know what you are working towards.

-> Three things that should be there between an R&AW agent and his senior: Trust, credibility and a feeling of being secure.

-> Two things that they look for in an agent while hiring: Good listening skills with a stable mind and not being too emotional.

-> He said that only regrets he has in life is that they don’t have any personal life, their family and they go through trauma and can’t do much about it.

-> As a R&AW officer, one lives a normal life, has a 9-5 job, works in his mission and has no weapons or legal backing.

That’s all I had for you today!

We also discussed:
⏩ What is R&AW and how it works
⏩ Life of a R&AW agent
⏩ Story of double agent Rabinder Singh
⏩ Regrets of his life as a R&AW officer
⏩ Common myths about R&AW

Almost 60% of consumers are not happy with the products that their bank sold them and 52.6% are disappointed with the extra charges that they ended up paying.

But why are many consumers in India not happy with their banks?
Well, we have discussed many such problems around banking and finance with our recent guest Y.S. Prabhu Kumar, who is the Founder and CEO of Wegofin.

Here are my top 3 takeaways from our conversation:
-> Banks use three major factors when deciding credit limits: risk-taking ability, risk exposure, and credit profiling system.

-> One major mistake that most businesses make is taking the wrong loan amount and managing it poorly.

-> Common checklist of banks while offering loans: Your bank profile, CIBIL score, and creditworthiness.

That’s all I had for you today!

We also discussed:
⏩ Top traditional and modern banks
⏩ Why do different banks give different credit limit
⏩ Common capital management mistakes businesses make
⏩ Who all can be benefited by Wegofin

This is one of those conversations that will give you goosebumps.
In our recent podcast, we had Maj Gen Yash Mor who is an ex Army Officer, Sena medalist, and a motivational speaker.

We talked about militants, and how his team turned those militants into Indian army soldiers and many scary stories from his army days.

Here are my top 5 takeaways:
-> During his army training days, they had intense training and would be taught map reading, different subjects, physical exercises, digging and even swimming.

-> He said when they turned the militant into Indian army soldier, the overall growth of the team reached a new level.

-> When I asked him how he trusted the militants who were turned into soldiers, he said that he believes in letting the heart command our mind.

-> He is against the Agniveer scheme because he feels that soldiers shouldn’t be kept on contract. Since very few will be selected as permanent soldiers, everyone will be in a state of constant uncertainty.

-> When I asked him why Pakistan stayed behind in growth, he said that when leaders use religion to dictate the country, it leads to its destruction.

That’s all I had for you today!

We also discussed:
⏩ What are headhunters
⏩ How are terrorists made
⏩ How militants are turned into soldiers
⏩ Insights on Agniveer scheme

This was one of the most fun yet intellectual conversations we had on Figuring Out.

Till now, most of us have seen only the funny, roasting, and unfiltered side of Harsh Gujral but in this conversation, you will see the real and thoughtful side of him.

Here are my top 5 takeaways from our conversation:
-> He said that to do something big in life, you need to be obsessed, you need to keep everything aside and just focus on your goal.

-> When I asked him if trolls affect him, he said yes. But he also believes that if you haven’t started something because of someone, you shouldn’t stop because of them.

-> He says that it takes a strong connection between a performer and the audience for them to pay to watch the performance.

-> According to him, a performer becomes successful when people relate to their personality and charm and this grows as the talent grows.

-> While talking about his good friend Bassi, he said that the thing he likes about him the most is his attitude towards life and his confidence in himself.

That’s all I had for you today!

We also discussed:
⏩ Funny stories from his childhood and college days
⏩ How his relationship with his dad evolved
⏩ Why he admires Kapil Sharma
⏩ How money changed his life
⏩ His highest income in a day

He scored 72% in 12th and joined a college that wasn’t helping him much. In 2008, he started a vocational training business with his brother, scaling it to 80+ branches before running out of funds and selling the company.

After a consulting job, he spotted industry loopholes and founded College Vidya.
Meet our today’s guest the Co-Founder and COO of College Vidya, Rohit Gupta.

Here are my top 5 takeaways from our conversation:
-> According to UGC guidelines, there should be 1 trainer for 45-50 students but there are universities which he calls ‘Real Estate companies’ that have 1 trainer for 200 students.

-> Medical colleges need dead bodies to get approval so they rent dead bodies and these bodies keep travelling from one college to another.

-> There are many universities that are just real estate companies that don’t give much value, but there is no act of dissolving these universities in our country.

-> Many tier-3 places have great teachers who work beyond monetary motives, but they are burdened with countless tasks, preventing them from reaching their full potential.

-> He said that students who have less than 75% and are not getting a good college can enroll in a good university’s online degree and do some internship rather than going to an average college.

That’s all I had for you today!
⏩ How to build a strong CV as a fresher
⏩ How he built and scaled his first business
⏩ Degree Vs skills- what is more important today
⏩ Difference between top and average college
⏩ How to choose the right course for yourself

I recently did a podcast with Amish Aggarwala who is an Advocate on Record in the Supreme Court of India. I was taken aback by listening to his stories around the Indian judiciary system and how easily people are trapping others in false cases.

Here are my top 5 takeaways from our conversation:

-> It is easy to file a false case against someone, but with proper strategies and the right lawyer, the accused can find justice.

-> Many people target NRIs and file fake cases against them to earn double the money. Sometimes, even those involved in the legal proceedings become part of this scheme to make money.

-> When someone puts a fake allegation on other people and they are proved wrong still there is no repercussions on the complainant.

-> His tip on finding the right lawyer- Talk and discuss your case with 2-3 lawyers, ask them questions and then choose the one that you feel confident about.

-> Due to the large number of cases and the limited number of courts and judges, many cases continue for 1 to 1.5 years in court.

That’s all I had for you today!

We also discussed:
⏩ How common is bribing in our system
⏩ Stories of people putting fake cases
⏩ How NRIs are trapped in fake cases
⏩ Three most damaging false cases
⏩ Reality of most courts

Honestly, this is a conversation that everyone needs to hear. With tech getting smarter, so are cybercriminals. It’s important to know how we can protect ourselves while still enjoying the perks of modern tech.

Our today’s guest is Saket Modi. He is the Co-founder and CEO of Safe Security.

Here are my top 5 takeaways from our conversation:
-> He said that 99% of the things that are on the dark web are not dark in the way we think.

-> Using Airport Wi-Fi can be risky for doing bank transactions or logging in to our social media accounts as hackers can read the sensitive information.

-> But, social media accounts that are already logged in are safe to use with Airport Wi-Fi.

-> While keeping our location on, on our devices is safe, we should not give apps to access our location all the time.

-> If you keep your Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on in public places, hackers can connect with your device and hack your data.

That’s all I had for you today!

We also talked about:
⏩ What is Dark Web and how it works
⏩ How hackers hack your data through public wifi
