Let’s start this Monday with a complete guide on creating a hormone balancing breakfast 🥞

🤔 First of all why do you even need to eat breakfast?

Because in the morning we want a nice rise in our wake up hormone “cortisol” and if we don’t eat breakfast within 30 minutes of waking up - cortisol becomes too high and creates hormonal imbalance!

🥞 However not all breakfasts are equal when it comes to balancing hormones and losing weight (if that’s your goal!)

🚨 in fact a breakfast high in sugars and carbs (fruit, smoothies, cereals, bread and bagels, pancakes, waffles) will spike your insulin and create blood sugar disregulation and cravings later in the day!

🥑 A good hormone balancing breakfast should include: at least 25g of bioavailable proteins, enough animal fats and some toppings like some nuts, 85% dark chocolate or a handful of berries!

☕️ Another thing to pay attimo to is what you drink! Drinking coffee before breakfast will likely spike cortisol and impair your hormones.

🫖 it’s better to opt for herbal teas, peppermint infuse or coffee at least 90 minutes after breakfast!

IT’S MORE THAN JUST A NUMBER ON THE SCALE ⚖️

After losing 40lbs 3 years ago I gained back 15 this year because I didn’t follow the strategies I used 3 years ago…

And the reason was simple: I was burned out, not feeling like myself, trapped in a business model I didn’t like, not really knowing what to do with my life and constantly stressed out 😰

👉🏻 now I want to preface this by saying, the past 2 months have been some of the most challenging of all my life

🐶 my dog didn’t feel well and needed constant care 24/7 and I was constantly worried

💰 my business went down the road and I lost clients and didn’t show up as myself on social media & stopped everything for a month

📈 my weight went up and up every day as I was eating bread, pasta, pizza like if there was no tomorrow, binging trying to heal my wounds…

And I wasn’t following ANY of the advice I was putting on my page (a big contradiction am I right? 😅)

➡️ but 1 month ago I decided it was time to do something about it - it was time for me to feel like myself again

✅ so I took 1 decision: STARTING AGAIN

I didn’t follow crazy diets, crazy workout routines (in fact I only workout 2 times per week for 15 minutes), and I didn’t take any supplements

➡️ but I decided to stop putting excuses in front of my dreams, goals and my body and health

Because losing weight is more than just a number, it’s about feeling like yourself, feeling pretty, powerful and like a woman again ✨

👉🏻 I still don’t have MY perfect body but I already lost 4lbs and have more energy than ever!

✅ I started rebalancing my circadian hormones again (leptin, cortisol and melatonin)

✅ I started using ketosis and carbs strategically
✅ I used fasting strategically (and never in the morning)
✅ I used specific workout routines to model my body shape the way I want it!

🎉 and the results are showing!

My message to you today is that, if you’re not feeling like yourself anymore and you’re trying to get back into shape, don’t waste your time with another workout or diet…

➡️ take 1 decision and START today rebalancing your hormones in the right way!
