Hi folks, I hope everybody is doing well in these hard times. If you have to stay at home like we do, maybe you have some time for a little jazz guitar playing. Here is my new fingerstyle lesson part 3 about Bossa Nova comping patterns. It's not so easy this time. You have to learn some syncopated rhythmic patterns, typical for latin music, but they are fun to play. You can use these patterns for your favorite Bossa Nova songs like "The Girl from Ipanema", "Corcovado" or "Triste". As always the tabs are available on my website. Hi folks, here is my interpretation of one of my favorite jazz tunes from Miles Davis, I've written a new melody theme over the well known chord progression of "Solar". In the pretty advanced solo part you find a lot of fast tempo bebop licks and a chord - octave solo in the end. I hope you like this one as much as I do. A complete transcription with the backing track is available on my website.
