Oh wow! π€― Somehow we've reached 50,000 subscribers on our YouTube channel which absolutely blows our mind. Thank you soo much to all our supporters β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπ
You're such a lovely community and we appreciate how you've stuck with us as we figured out our own style and also navigated through those pandemic years when travel came to a halt and subsequently travel content tanked! π
As always, we thank you for leaving us (and even each other) nice comments on our videos and socials. Though we aren't able to reply every single one we do enjoy reading them all π Thank you for sharing our content, saying "hello" when you see us out and about, encouraging us to keep making videos but also patiently waiting whenever we do take vlogging breaks! We appreciate it all ππβ€οΈ
We've produced 277 videos to date... here's to hopefully many more ππ
Hiya everyone ππ In case you missed our updates on Insta and Facebook, our third vlog from Santorini (the "hidden gems" episode) is the final vlog from us for some time while we take a break! π

Thank you to everyone who was worried about us because of Cyclone Gabrielle lashing New Zealand especially so soon after the Auckland floods! We were incredibly fortunate to have been unaffected in both disasters but that's sadly not the case for so many Kiwis and families around the North Island π’ For more of an update and how you can help donate if you're able to, please see our Facebook post β€οΈ Thank you π

Wow, how are we in Feb of 2023 already?! π²
You may have noticed we haven't posted any new weekly videos for a while. That was originally because we were taking a break over the holidays but then with the horrendous weather we've been having in Auckland and the North Island over what we all hoped to be a great Kiwi summer, instead more recently resulted in the devastating floods you may have seen on the news and in our updates.
It's definitely another stark reminder of how unpredictable life can be. We have been so fortunate and blessed to have been unaffected by mother nature's latest crusade. That sadly hasn't been the case for so many others.
Between that, and the end and start of each new year it's often a time for reflection and so something that we had decided recently (though have thought about for some time) is that we want to be more flexible with our lives in terms of the strict vlogging schedule that we had imposed on ourselves ever since we first began making videos (which was to post a new video practically every single Sunday throughout the year and only take a break at the end of the year or when it was absolutely necessary). Something which can often be very challenging to achieve while balancing a normal life and yep it can even cause burn out at times.
We still wanna share our travels and adventures but it's been a few years now and we finally feel like we can be a bit easier on ourselves which means we're still definitely gonna be making and posting new videos, and when we do, they'll still usually be posted on Sundays at 11.30am NZT, but it just may not be every single Sunday anymore.
We'd like to thank all our viewers especially our regular ones for understanding and all your support β€οΈπ We hope if you haven't already, you've got notifications turned on for our YouTube channel so when we do make new posts, you'll know about it ππ
So in the mean time, lots of love from us both and we'll catch you in our next video - whenever that may be πβ€οΈ
Goodbye 2022! Happy 2023 π₯³ Thank you for the unforgettable year that's come and gone π We look forward to sharing more adventures with everyone and hope you have bunch yourselves too! Grateful for all your love and support ππ₯°

Bringing you travel vlogs from New Zealand and around the world π
Hiya :) We're Peter and Yen, a Kiwi Asian hubby and wife team from Auckland, NZ.
We always had a dream of retiring at a young age so through a lot of hard work and planning, we actually managed to do it! We left our jobs, sold our home and travel pretty much full-time, making videos for our YouTube channel to share with others around the world.
We love traveling and eating good food. We both also really enjoy creating things and learning about other cultures too so YouTube has been the perfect avenue for us to capture and share our memories.
Subscribe to our channel and hit the bell to get notified each time we drop a new video so you never miss an episode :)
New video uploads are usually posted on Sundays 11.30am NZT.
Don't forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook too π
Thanks for the support! We look forward to seeing you around ππ
