Is there words for the behavioral dogwistling mechanisms that make people feel the need to talk play sounds they assume are relaxing instead of pure silence or brown noise? And fake over exaggerated hamster talk? I find it pretentious and distracting and I’m sure I’m not the only. If I wanted to hear nature, I’d go outside.
